“Good drawing pleases the eye; professional drawing earns it’s place.”

Andaan Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Pleasant Hill, California, dedicated to presenting modern and contemporary artists whose work explores the intersection of nature, emotion, and human experience. Through thoughtfully curated exhibitions, the gallery showcases painting, sculpture, and mixed-media works by both emerging and established artists from the United States and abroad.

Founded by architectural interior designer and curator Maggie Andaan, the gallery creates an inviting space where art, design, and community come together. With a curatorial focus on abstraction, materiality, and storytelling, Andaan Gallery seeks to foster meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and the public.

The gallery is committed to supporting artists through professional representation while introducing collectors to exceptional works that inspire dialogue, reflection, and lasting engagement. Whether presenting solo exhibitions, curated group shows, or participating in art fairs, Andaan Gallery celebrates artistic voices that challenge perspectives and evoke a deep sense of place, memory, and emotion.

Meet The Founder

Maggie Andaan is an architectural interior designer and founder of Andaan Gallery, with nearly a decade of experience creating thoughtful, intentional spaces. A graduate of San Francisco State University in Architectural Interior Design, she later continued her studies in Museum Studies at the University of San Francisco to pursue her passion for curating and supporting emerging artists.

With a lifelong love for art and craftsmanship, Maggie began organizing local pop-up exhibitions and creative events before opening Andaan Gallery — a contemporary space dedicated to giving artists an opportunity to share their work and connect with the community. Her curatorial approach is rooted in emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling, often bringing together abstract and landscape works that explore the connection between earth, memory, and human experience.

Through both design and curation, Maggie is passionate about creating spaces that feel inspiring, welcoming, and deeply personal.
